The United States has deployed it’s biggest deployment of troops in Europe since the end of the cold war.
Almost 3,000 military vehicles and 3,500 troops are arriving in eastern Europe, only kilometres from the Russian border.
It’s a move by NATO in a bid to counter Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.
Speaking with Sky News, Russia’s ambassador to NATO, Alexander Grushko, said the move is concerning and criticised the organisation, saying it’s ineffective and it’s tactics are outdated.
‘It is very dangerous because don’t have any interest in confrontation or relations with Europe,’ he said.
‘What NATO is doing is going back to this old, outdated cold war pattern of security, to base security on a military power and threats. This is dangerous.’
