I haven't talked to Li since completing my training yesterday. It's quite odd, you'd think you'd find an oddball with a dumb hat anywhere in this school as no one else would even dare to wear that.

  Guess it's not so easy to find that tiny creature. She still has to take responsibility for acting like so confident about my condition while actually being a dumbass, after all.

  I suppose what her mom told me yesterday is right, then . Since she has depleted way too much of her karmic energy while fighting that weird woman, she won't wake up for a while.

  What did she say it would take for her to completely get back up on her feet again ? Ah, right. 2 days.

  " I wonder where my bro went. It's weird not hearing him talk about scp like an excited child."

  "I don't get that excited over it !".

  He looked at me with suspicious eyes.

  " Wait, beauty, do you also like that weird stuff ? "

  " Don't call me that and what about it ?"

  " Oh, nothing, a dy like yourself indulging herself in the paranormal is nothing but cute."

  This guy...

  He was really starting to piss me off. To prevent myself from actually committing a crime, I left the scene to wander in the corridor.

  As I walked my thoughts were starting to mix together, images of the weird dy, Li and Melessy forming in my mind.

  " I hope Li's getting better soon ..."

  I catched myself thinking, immediately regretting it.

  " What am I saying, why am I worrying, we're not even actually friends in the first pce."

  Then again, I did promise her mom to do my best to protect her.

  A loud metallic noise snapped me out of my introspection. Curious, I got closer to the source of the noise.

  " God, you're so annoying !"

  I immediately recognised the girl that was yelling, it was Jessica from my css. She always has that "better than you" tone when she talks so it isn't that surprising.

  She was known around school to bully the people that look at her funny or threatens her fragile ego. Fortunately, Li escaped that wrath because she was cute in her eyes . Not to mention considering her height, she probably thinks she's a kid.

  " Can we get this over with ? I don't have all day . What is it this time ? Locking me in the locker ? Spreading rumours I am a slut ? Atta girl."

  The person Jessica was pressuring responded in the most nonchant tone ever. I had to admit that atta girl comment made me chuckle. I see this girl isn't afraid to make fun of a known "mean girl" bully.

  Jessica spped the girl violently, knocking out her round gsses. Since she was looking down, I couldn't get a good look but didn't she seem familiar looking more closely.

  Ah, I remember, it's that one girl I ran into the other day. Not the greatest at brightening the mood I would say.

  " You think I don't see you trying to seduce the guys ? He always end feeling sorry for you under the pretext nobody want anything to with a gloomy bitch like you in this school. You're stealing my spotlight.Don't think you can get away with it, you slut."

  As usual, Jessica's very stupid and egomaniac. I remember she was like this in middle school too. People like her usually don't reflect on their actions or behaviour until too te so I'm not really surprised .

  " Honestly,you should do us all a favour and kill yourself."

  Jessica said smiling at the girl like she was some cartoon vilin. Girl, have some decency and morals, please.

  " Maybe you're right..."

  " What ?"

  I feel like I need to help that girl in more ways than one considering what she just said. She definitely isn't in a good state of mind, I reckon and Jessica is only making it worse.

  " Alright, that's enough."

  I said, holding the arm Jessica was about to use to sp the girl again. I could notice how the training had affected my body. Despite not putting any effort into holding her arm, she couldn't release herself from my grip.

  " Why does everyone always takes pity on you ?! You know what ?! Whatever ! Have fun with that weirdo !"

  Weird, she's actually pushing back. I knew that girl wasn't normal. Maybe she's just really strong.

  She left the scene , leaving me with the girl. She revealed her features by looking at me before searching for her gsses on the floor.

  I was quite stun locked...

  This girl was really beautiful, with silky blonde hair , complemented with deep blue eyes that were like the sky.

  " Why are you staring at me ?"

  " N-nothing...I just thought you're way cuter than I thought."

  She immediately put her gsses back on after hearing that

  " Are you flirting with me,girl ? Sorry, not interested. Now if you excuse me, I have things I need to do."

  " Wait !"

  " What is it ?"

  I could tell she was annoyed by my callout by the sound of her voice.

  " You should value yourself more. Think about your friends and family. Would they want to hear you give up on yourself so easily?"

  At this exact moment, her eyes became completely empty and devoid of any ounce of light.

  " What friends ? I don't have any. As for my family, my mom and dad died already. This is why I hate people like you, you assume people like me need help and your pity when I wallow in my self pity. Don't give me that fake kindness crap !"

  She didn't even turn to look at me as she left.

  " I guess she has a lot to deal with... I should let her process her emotions. "

  A tap on my shoulder gave me shivers down my spine.

  " O-oh...H-hi,Miss Audrey, It's been a while, huh . "

  " Hi, Melissi."

  After that talk I had with Li's mom, I'm a little suspicious of her .

  " Melissi, I have something to ask you."

  " What could miss Audrey possibly ask useless me. Well, while we're on that topic, I also have a surprise for miss Li.

  " Surprise ?"

  " F-follow me."
