Chapter 16. Trespassing

It took about another hour to find all the remaining items that the system was telling me to pick up. Not because they were difficult but because I had assumed it was only referring to the fence posts and the smoke bomb that had been dropped. What I stupidly forgot was rocks as I'd walked past a decent sized one multiple times before I had realized it was the st thing I needed to get rid of.

I was so happy no one saw me in that moment.

Unlike the rotting wood however I snuck out of my boundary again making sure Zeldi didn't notice and stuck it in the stream that was feeding the other bathing area. Hopefully once it all settles Zeldi's one will be bigger than it was currently.

Although I'd been browsing the shop and an option for a well had popped up for only fifty points.

  Water well:

Endless water with a little elbow grease. Bucket not included.

Seems simple enough. It even came with a better version for five hundred points.

  Automatic Water well:

Generates water at a rate of one bucket every hour. Stores three within its own personal inventory. Bucket not included.

This one right here made me happy. Automation! Sign me the hell up.

This had led me down a rabbit hole of automatic farming equipment like the automatic pnter for one thousand points.

  Automatic pnter:

Seeds pnted in this will continually produce its food at a rate of one every hour. Has a personal inventory of five. Seeds not included.

This all seemed a little too good to be true but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. This wasn't a traditional farm where you toil all day but a farm that prioritized it's livestock. Having an automatic pnter ment less time in the fields and more time taking care of them.

And the less work ment more livestock and therefore faster growth. The only thing it was missing was a conveyor belt to deliver it right to our front door. No, one did not exist, yes I have looked.

Through the end of my searching I found the weirdest of the automatic items.

  Automatic butcher:

Pick an animal and the automatic butcher will produce one sb of its meat every hour. Has a personal inventory of five.

I mean no need for animals? I don't know why I'm surprised really, there were bound to be some livestock that were carnivores and this would just make it easier to look after them. Too bad it was two thousand points.

Pns for the future. For now though.

Current quest: Clean up rubble around farm.

  Reward: Trespassing.

  Progress: 100 / 100

Would you like to turn in quest? Yes / No

  Yip definitely going to accept.

  Trespassing ability gained.

Sweet. Now how do I use it?

Designate specific people or creatures that will no longer be able to enter your farm.

Can I just select everything? That way Tilty and whoever sent that kobold can't just hire others to trash the pce?

Error. Deed owner and livestock cannot be trespassed. Please select again.

Oh? Then how about everyone but myself and Zeldi?

Calcuting... Deed owner Clovek and current livestock are the only ones with access to Leyline Farm.

Calcuting.... Five trespassers have been given two minutes to vacate the area before they are forcefully removed.

Calcuting... Trespassing conditions may be changed at any time.

Sweet. Wait there are five other people on my property right now not including Zeldi and myself? Dam and I thought the kobold was the only one. And what does it mean by forcefully removed?

I decided to wait. Two minutes wasn't long and I needed to see if the creak was actually going to flow back onto my property now that I'd blocked off the other path. There was also a chance it would go a different direction.

It didn't take long for the water to return to its original path without and diversions. The creak now looked a hell of a lot better and would be so much more enjoyable. I watched as it deepened considerably to the point Zeldi might have had to actually swim in the deepest parts.

The thought of zeldi in a swimsuit came to mind and while I had already seen her naked there was just something about seeing a woman in almost nothing but not actually able to see anything exciting. Needless to say it was a Herculean effort on my part not to check the shop for something like that although I did promise myself that once we had all the basics including clothes I would splurge a little.

I almost missed the trespassing reward activating until a scream pulled my attention away from the creak. Like a marionette that a dog held the stick for, I watched another kobold get dragged across the ground as he fought to stay. It was a battle of futility as the creature was unceremoniously thrown against a tree about a meter from my boundary line and y still.

Next to the limp figure I also noticed the snake man from yesterday slightly out of breath. He caught my gre and lowered his head.

Bloody bastard had been on my property as well. Unfortunately I didn't get to see him get dragged as he'd been smart enough to get out before the two minutes. Bloody shame.

He hissed something under his breath that I couldn't make out before lifting his hand up. As he did so the white line fshed and formed a wall that blocked his advance.

This trespassing reward is dam good. Zeldi and I didn't need to ever worry about someone stealing or breaking something now.

Happy with what I had accomplished I thought about my next quest.

Current quest: Raise a livestocks comfort to 50% or higher.

  Reward: Livestock request.

Livestock request? What the hell is that?

I focused on the reward hoping the system would give me something.

Livestock request: A message will be sent to an unbound Livestock with details about the farm and it's deed owner. The livestock can then choose if they wish to bind themselves to that nd or not.

Okay so the reward is a complete gamble. If they say no then it's a useless reward but if they do accept it then I get another producer. Seems easy enough especially with the quest being about Zeldi's comfort. Increasing that was already on the to do list.

  Zeldi

Hunger: 38%Thirst: 85%Comfort: 42%Comfort too low. Production decreased as a result.

  Production quality: D-

Livestock possess permanent upgrades that stop her milk going being below a D- quality rank.

Not too bad. Almost there actually, I reckon if I bought a bed and some food then told her to have a nap I'd complete this before nightfall. It also seemed that the stats went red if they were under fifty percent. Hopefully if it went over I could get rid of that notification that kept saying her production would decrease.

This would be a twofold benefit as more milk ment more points and the quests completion.

With that knowledge I ran back to the house to find Zeldi lying on her horse belly on the front porch with a bowl in her hands. She noticed me running and was giggling when I arrived. "I'm guessing the kobolds I saw being thrown about were your doing Master?"

"Quest reward." I answered dipping into the house and putting the empty bottles as well as the full one in my inventory next too the kobold cloak and dagger before joining her.

I wasn't hungry just yet but I did want to see if she was milk-able.

  Zeldi (Centaur)

  Status: Hungry

  Position: Livestock (milk maid)

  Product: Centaur milk (D-)

  Harvestable: Yes

  This was such a cheat.

"Do you mind if I milk you again now? Want to see if I can get us a proper bed before night." I sold the full one rounding my total points right now to twenty six.

"You're more than welcome Master but do you mind if I eat while you work?" Zeldi said wither her bowl of gruel. Thankfully there were a few potatoes that had been boiled in amongst it so it was slightly different.

"Not at all." I replied summoning one of the empty bottles and stealing a single potato for myself. They needed a little salt but weren't too bad.

Zeldi pulled her top up over her chest then turned her head to the side so that the bowl wouldn't be in my way. I joined her on the ground and got to work slightly impressed with how quickly her tits had returned to the same size as yesterday. That being said she did eat a lot to fuel both her production and her body in general. That auto farmer was looking better every time I think about it.

"So what was the reward that sent everyone flying?" Zeldi asked as she spooned herself.

"Trespassing." I replied a little tempted to take a drink but I needed to sell most of her milk this time. "I've made it so only you and myself can be on the property, so no more things going missing or mysteriously breaking."

Zeldi hummed through a mouthful of food. "Can you change it? Or is it permanent?"

"I can change it at will." I returned. The teat I was milking stopped producing milk as the bottle was on the verge of being full. "Why? Do you want me to change it?"

"It's unlikely but could you allow traders?" Zeldi asked with very little hope in her eyes. "And definitely other producers. We will need them so no point in refusing them entrance."

Ah her quest. My store is useless to her in that regard.

I thought about the trespassing reward and tried to think of the changes. I didn't want traders to be able to come all the time. Could I put that as a requirement.

Calcuting... Trespass conditions changed. Deed owner Clovek and livestock allowed full access. Temporary access during daylight will be granted to those wishing to trade.

Seemed good for now. There was definitely some fws that could be abused but if there was a small chance to sell Zeldi's milk I'd take it. Hopefully her quality would increase the amount of points I get.

"One more thing. Do you know anyone called Maletary?" I asked.

"The leader of the dairy farm? She live a short distance off the path between us and the city. Lovely old dy that sometimes sneaks me stuff underneath Tilty's nose. Why do you ask?" Zeldi answered with a smile, the first bit of warmth in her eyes about living here.

"No reason." I lied. I couldn't crush her like that.

"Ooow could you let her in as well Master? Wouldn't be right to keep her out after all she's done for me."

I bit my lip to stop saying what is found out. "Sure thing."

I was lucky she couldn't see the notifications as I didn't change anything. There was very little chance this Maletary was purely being nice if the kobold was snooping around looking to steal Zeldis milk.

And here I was thinking Tilty had destroyed her old milking machine so she could repce it with the crap one. Maybe I was wrong?

Still didn't forgive Tilty for everything else she had done but I'd rather punish those that actually did the crimes. Seems I have another on my hit.
