Nier's wings sliced through the skyline as he soared toward Sector-07.
He had already crossed from Sector-12 to Sector-10, his speed carrying him swiftly across the country. Lunaris City came into view below, and soon after cross multiple neighborhoods, his sprawling estate a familiar beacon from above came into direct view.
To avoid detection, Nier banked downward, descending gracefully into an oak forest not far from his vil. His nding was silent, the rustling leaves barely disturbed.
Till his talons meet solid ground.
"Alright, child, you can get off now."
He said, his voice calm but commanding.
"Ah, right away Father."
Alle replied, her tone a mix of excitement and nervousness.
She slid off the great bird's back, her feet hitting the soft earth. Her eyes darted around, taking in the towering oaks and dappled moonlight.
"What is this pce?"
She asked, awe filling her voice.
"My home in Sector-07."
Nier answered simply.
And then, a sudden fsh of red light erupted behind her. Alle spun around at the same time, her eyes widening in shock.
Where the thirty-foot bird had been now stood a tall, muscur man with striking maroon hair, dressed in elegant, gothic attire that seemed to shimmer faintly in the forest's dim light of the pale moon.
"You're… human?"
Alle stammered, her gaze fixed on his chiseled features and uncanny presence.
Nier did't respond to Alle though, rather he merely brushed past her.
"Follow me, child."
He said, his voice carrying an air of authority.
Alle hurried to keep pace with Nier, her mind still reeling from his transformation.
A strange sensation pulsed through her, a tattoo on her lower abdomen throbbed faintly, sending shivers up her spine. Her heart raced, an unfamiliar heat stirring within, clouding her thoughts.
What is happening to me? she wondered, her hand instinctively pressing against her abdomen. The sensation intensified, a confusing mix of longing and raw energy she struggled to suppress.
Nier paused, gncing back with a raised brow.
"Keep up, girl."
He said, his tone sharp but not unkind.
Alle nodded quickly, forcing herself to focus as she trailed behind, her mind a whirlwind of questions and strange new feelings.
"So, Alle!"
Nier called out as they walked through the damp forest.
"Yes, Father?"
She replied, her voice eager but uncertain.
Nier's brow furrowed.
"First of all, why do you keep calling me Father?"
Alle tilted her head, considering her next words.
"I don't know… It just feels right. You made Alle what she is now, so Alle sees you as her Father. Does Father not like it when Alle calls him Father?"
Nier's expression softened slightly.
"It's… odd! I've never been a father before, and our bond isn't biological, you know."
Alle's tone turned quiet, almost sad.
"Should Alle stop calling you Father?"
"I didn't say that."
Nier crified, his voice gentler.
"All I am saying kid that it just feels strange is all, but if it makes you happy, you can keep calling me Father."
Alle's eyes lit up, a wide smile spreading across her face.
"Then from now on, you're Alle's Father!"
The two continued through the forest, the air heavy with the scent of rain. It was nearly two in the morning, the great storm having passed over Sectors 6, 5, and 4, leaving Lunaris City cloaked in a damp, quiet night.
As they approached Nier's vil, Alle's eyes widened at the sight. The sleek, bck concrete-and-steel structure loomed like a gothic fortress, its modern elegance hinting at immense wealth.
A row of luxurious vehicles gleamed in the garage, catching the moonlight.
"Wow."
Alle breathed, dazzled by the sight of her Father's collection.
"Father, are you rich?"
Nier merley shrug at this as he said.
"If you have supernatural abilities or background, and you're poor, you might as well press off on yourself. Because power and a mundane life don't mix...but yes, I am quite rich."
"Amazing."
Alle murmured, her eyes sparkling as they reached the vil's entrance.
Nier stopped abruptly, a wave of killing intent prickling the air. He opened the door, revealing Imani, her eyes glowing a furious orange in the shadowed interior.
A dozen monstrous creatures fnked her, eight skittering across the floor, four hovering in the air, all gring at the intruders. Imani's arms were outstretched, parasitic cannons molded to her skin, charging with a pulsating energy.
The moment the door opened, she unleashed a bst powerful enough to tear a human in half.
"Father!"
Alle cried, instinct propelling her in front of Nier. Blood poured from her pores, hardening the instant it met the air. The dense, bone-like projectile from Imani's cannon struck Alle's blood-forged barrier, cracking it but failing to break through as the attack's force dissipated.
"At ease, woman... It's me for crying out loud."
Nier's voice rang out, calm but commanding, as he stepped forward.
Imani's eyes widened, her orange glow fading as she recognized Nier. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
"Babe! Oh god, did I just attack you? My babies sensed something terrifying approaching at high speed, and with Kaly busy with Tanya, I stepped up to defend the pce. I didn't know it was you! Also… your aura feels different now."
Nier folded his arms, his expression unreadable.
"Different? Since when can you sense auras?"
"Since Kaly made me her Bishop, whatever the hell that means."
Imani replied, her tone sheepish. “
"Your aura didn't feel thi powerful when you were asleep."
"I see."
Nier said, his voice low.
But suddenly, a suffocating wave of killing intent flooded the room. Alle's eyes turned pitch bck, red energy seeping from her body.
Her teeth sharpened, and her cws extended into razor-like bdes. Imani's creatures instinctively circled their mother, their own instincts fring as Alle's oppressive aura pressed down on them.
"You dared to attack Father?"
Alle's voice distorted, a guttural snarl as her power surged, flooding the hall.
One of Imani's creatures, a massive snake-like beast with a single glowing red eye, locked onto Alle. A scorching red ser fired from its eye, melting the marble floor in its path.
But Alle moved faster, dodging with unnatural speed. She leaped into the air, blood pouring from her pores blood once more to form a massive scythe of hardened blood.
And with a single, devastating ssh, she severed the creature's head, blood spraying across the hall.
As the beast's remains colpsed, Alle absorbed its blood and flesh into her body, her red aura pulsing stronger than before.
More creatures lunged to defend Imani, ready to die for their mother. But Nier's voice cut through the chaos, stopping everyone from taking this any further as he called out specifically.
"Alle, that is enough!"
Instantly all the creatures stop as they felt a command pulling at their genetic code. A command they could not disobey.
And Alle in her bloodlusted state, looked at her Father and said.
"But Father, she attacked you!"
Alle protested, still hovering, her scythe gleaming.
"She didn't know it was me."
Nier said firmly.
"Do you think one of my women would attack me on purpose?"
Alle blinked, the red energy fading as her eyes returned to normal.
"One of your… women?"
She repeated, shocked even.
Imani blushed, waving a hand dismissively.
"My bad, babe. It won't happen again, I have memorize your new aura now, I will make sure not to forget it even if you progress further."
Alle's cws retracted, and she reabsorbed the blood scythe into her body, nding beside Nier. He gave her a faint smile.
"That was quite a show you put on their. You remind me of myself a bit when you use Negativity to use your powers."
"Negativity?"
Alle tilted her head.
"What's that?"
Seeing this, Nier instantly knew Alle strange voices didn't teach her about Negativity.
So he concluded this was more natrual than her actually knowing how to use them from the get-go.
So he replied saying.
"Hmm I see, instinct, I presume."
Nier said, studying her.
"If you mean this was just going with the flow thing then yes... When the harlot attacked you I acted on impulse I'm sorry, did I disappoint you!?"
"I am not a harlot thank you very much!"
Imani shouted, and Nier replied.
"Fascinating....
As he continued.
"You're a strange little monster, but that woman is on our side. Let’s not kill each other, shall we, and her name is Imani."
He ruffled Alle's hair, making her blush. Imani, watching, rushed to Nier and leaped into his arms. He caught her, swinging her gently.
"You worried me, babe."
Imani said, her voice soft.
"Kaly said you suddenly fall unconscious, so I called my husband and send Sam hole saying I will be spending a couple days at my father to be here."
Nier chuckled when he heard this.
"I'm not that easy to kill. Even if I die, Kaly would bring me back. No need to worry."
The suddenly Imani lifted his shirt, revealing a glowing red brand etched across his chest.
"So it's true?"
She whispered.
"You were marked by a god."
Alle's eyes widened.
"Mark by a god, what does that mean?"
She asked curiously, Nier sighed as he replied casually.
"Yes I was branded by Mnemosyne, one of the five Dracas of our World."
Imani’sl' brow furrowed.
"A Draca? As in the World Trees? Are they really gods?"
"Yes!"
Nier said.
"Or to be more precise they are Immutable Gods. High Gods that embody concepts, like water or the sky for a example."
Imani blinked, processing this new information despite how vague it was as she said.
"Damn, that is quite the insane peice of information. Sigh... The world is so full of mysteries, and humans are all just so clueless, even after the supernatural became part of our daily life we are still very much in th dark, it is kind of sad."
Nier just smirked, and replied to her by saying.
"Life is strange, Imani. But you'll get used to it. After all, You've got the best teacher around... That being mostly Kaly, and myself if I can help."
Hearing this she grinned, hugging him tightly.
"Ahhhh how lovely of you to say those nice thing to little ol me."
"Hehehe."
Nier chuckles as he hug her tighter and more lovingly.
Then her gaze shifted to Alle, who was gring at her with barely concealed envy.
"Okay enough of you for now babe, a girl need some answer's after all, care to tell me who is the scary kid throwing death gres at me?"
"I am eighteen thank you very much."
Alle snapped, indignant.
Nier chuckled, as he said.
"She is a new addition to the family. Imani, meet Alle. She was caught up with her twin sister in an organ trafficking scenario, and I manage to saved them. One thing led to another, and I brought Alle back from the dead. She calls me Father because of it."
Imani raised an eyebrow.
"I see... haaaa, another so casually eh!? Still where is the sister."
"I ate her."
Alle said bluntly.
"..."
"..."
"..."
".... Darling did she...
"Yes sweet heart if that what she call eating then yes."
Alle then nodded matter-of-factly.
"Yes, yes I did."
Imani's jaw dropped.
"Wait, seriously?"
Nier sighed, as he try to come up with a way to expin this.
"It is a complicated situation. Her eating her sister was different from how she consumed your creature. Let us just say her sister is alive, somewhere in that weird body if hers."
Imani shook her head even more shocked now.
"Okay, I am dropping that topic."
She turned to Alle this time around, and said.
"Well, if you are new to the family that can only mean you're now part of his harem now?"
Alle’s eyes lit up with heart-shaped sparkles.
"Really, Father? Is what the Harlot says true!?"
Nier nodded.
"You offered your soul to save El. This is the price."
Alle giggled, practically bouncing.
"Alle is happy! Very happy!"
Imani smirked at Nier.
"Hahaha I bet you are, still Alle there is still somebody I want you to meet."
"Who is it?"
"Well you will see, follow me."
