Chapter 68.5: Nunos Notes on Humalian Magic Toolsies

  [Nuno's Notes on Humalian Magic Toolsies]

  [Grimoires]

  -Grimoires are books... um... yeah, they're like books that have words in them... that are called grimoire syntax.

  -They are specialised magic tools where it normally have one subject of focus, like having a fire book that only contains fire spells.

  -When a grimoire has been designated a type, it can only contain spells matching that type. So, if a grimoire is a support-type, then it can only contain support spells, and the more specific the grimoire-type a grimoire is, the stronger the spells will be. Basically, by restricting what a grimoire can do, it makes what it can do stronger(I think this concept might also apply to other magic tools, but it's hard to tell).

  -People who primarily use grimoires are referred to as Magus(es)/Magi

  [Grimoire Syntax]

  -It's written out similarly to how computer coding is written out, but the rules of the writing aren't completely set in stone. However, for the most part, the syntax between any person's grimoires isn't too drastic. Like, two basic fireball spells' syntaxes will look the same, for the most part.

  [Grimoire Syntax Example]

  [Inkaro's Locating Arrow Spell(That Lizu still has in her possession to this day)]

  [Import: Module Function{Display, Detection, Scanning}]

  [X = Input("Please Ask For A Target")]

  [Define: Target = X]

  [Find: Target(position:{x,y,z})]

  [Y = Object{Arrow}]

  [Y Point: Toward: Find]

  [Display: Y]

  [Forward= 0°]

  [If X == Forward]

  [Y.Fill{#B7FFFA}, Y.Border{#FFFFFF}]

  [Else]

  [Y.Fill{#FF0000}, Y.Border{#000000}]

  [Tapestries]

  -Tapestries are magic objects that are multi-purpose tools that can take on a variety of shapes.

  -They are commonly put in sets that work together and can be reconfigured to alter how they function.

  -Those who use a tapestry as their main form of using magic are referred to as Shaman/Shamen

  [Tapestry Etching and Tuning]

  -For etching, it is when people are making nodes or chains, which entails etching shapes into flat magic materials to make the nodes, or carving those same materials into thin strips for the chains.

  -For Tuning, it is when people are connecting the nodes together with chains to form spells, which commonly requires the chains to be 'burned' to the nodes. Other methods of connecting nodes and chains exist, but 'burning' is the best option for a spell's longevity and connectivity.

  -The nodes and chains resemble logic gates to some extent.

  [Nodes and Chains Explanation]

  [Nodes]-[Basic]

  [Core]

  -It functions as the core of any tapestry's spell(s) and acts as the processing centre of a tapestry. A tapestry (set included) can only have a singular Core Node applied to it.

  [Block]

  -This node is the node that handles/holds the base programming for the tapestry's spells.

  [Funnel]

  -These nodes act as the extentors for other nodes, allowing for more complex spells.

  [Nodes]-[Advanced]

  [Relay]

  -A node that acts similarly to the Funnel, but instead of sending everything through to the same destination, it will instead send programming commands down predefined paths.

  [Cornerstone]

  -A node that handles/executes dual/simultaneous operations/programming commands.

  [Condition Node: Delayer and Crown]

  -It delays(Delayer)/holds(Crown) parts of a tapestry's spell(s) programming from activating until specific conditions are fulfilled first.

  [Nodes]-[Elite]

  [Comparitor]

  This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.

  -When this node receives two conflicting commands that can't be done at the same time, it will decide on which to do based on pre-registered orders by its maker/user imparts into it.

  [Refuser/Blocker]

  -When it receives a command, it will block parts of it based on its refuse/block list.

  [Converter]

  -When a command is sent through this node, the command is converted into a corresponding type of the matching command scope. I.e, a 0.5 speed up command can be changed to a 0.5 slow down command, or changing a right spin command to a left spin one.

  [Nodes]-[Supreme]

  [Mana-Vent]

  [{No Info other than they are both classed as Node addons]}

  [Amulet]

  [{No Info]}

  [Chains]-[Basic]

  [Link]

  -The most basic chain that simply links nodes together and allows for two-way info transfer, but info can only go one way at a time.

  [Dual Link]

  -Functions identically to the link chain, but it allows for two-way info transfer at the same time.

  [Speeder]

  -It is a link chain with faster processing speeds, but only allows for one-way info transfer.

  [Brancher]

  -Two link chains that are crossed over each other, allowing for four-way information transfer.

  [Ender chain]

  -A short chain that is used to end a sequence.

  [Chains]-[Advanced]

  [Advanced Chain]

  -A sturdier version of the basic chain that can handle higher amounts of mana flowing through it.

  [Powered Chain]

  -Boosts the strength/potency of the commands being sent through it.

  [Bridger Chain]

  -Can connect two different types of sequences together.

  [Multiplier Chain]

  -Allows for a multiplue instances of the same command that is sent through it.

  [Trigger Chain]

  -It is a chain that can only be triggered and allows commands to flow through it when those commands contain certain inputs.

  -There are four types of trigger chains: Type-A is mana-potency related, Type-B is mana-type related, Type-C is mana-quantiy related, and Type-D is mana-density related.

  [Chains]-[Elite]

  [Coupling Chain]

  -When used, it allows for the coupling nodes to be moved simultaneously during reformatting.

  [Logic-Link Chain]

  -When two sequences/commands have opposing or adjacent logic, the chain will split in two and send the two different commands to pre-programmed locations, which can sometimes give the separated commands unique effects they normally wouldn't have.

  [Computing Chain]

  -When a certain mana frequency passes through this chain, it will cause it to do {computing} to the passing sequence, modifying the sequence based on the pre-programmed [computing]. If the frequency isn't met, then the computing chain will act like a normal advanced chain.

  [Spark-Lock Chain]

  -When a pulse is sent through this chain, and it surpasses the chain's strength limit, this chain will shut off, stopping the sequence.

  [Chains]-[Supreme]

  [Looping Chain]

  -[{No Info other than they are both classed as Chain addons]}

  [Compounding Chain]

  -[{No Info]}

  [Curios]

  -Curios are magical items that are made of crystalline/gem/crystal-like

  -Unlike the other Humalian magic tools, the will/intention of the wielder can influence how the curio's spell is executed. I.e, if someone has a curio that creates a shadow projection, then the user can manually control the shape of that generated shadow.

  -Those who use curios a lot are called Mage(s)

  [Curio Rune Scribing]

  -It is when someone inscribes an assortment of runes into a magical crystal, or crystal-like object, to impart it with magical properties.

  -They are used for single-purpose spells/purposes that only need a constant flow of mana to keep the spell contained within it active. Like having two curios connected to a water Tank that will then either heat or cool water as it passes through the curio.

  [Rune Examples]

  [Prime Runes]

  -Prime runes are for starting a rune string: Nue, Fen, Prou, Rion, Kroz, Trenqu.

  [String Runes]

  -These are the runes that are then used to mould the way the curio's spell will function.

  [Omega Runes]

  -Omega Runes are used to end a rune string: Triu, Dreo, Sweon, Yueno, Halepho.

  (Side note: Lilith, that nightmare guy is messing with my report, hit him for me!)
