Chapter 9- Nature Calls!

  Me, Alice and Two others have ventured into the woods today due to reports of a Mutos portal appearing there.

  True to her words, Alice and i never left each other's side, the other two Awakened smiled, "How sweet it is to find love at such a young age.

  We ventured deeper into the woods before deciding to camp for the night.

  Alice and i looked at the stars, when she turned to me, "Roxy why DID you break up with Stel?"

  "What we had wasn't love, it was svery, all she would do was make me carry her stuff whe we went shopping, and although i had a crush on her, but it was clear she didn't want a girlfriend, she wanted a servant, and i didn't want a life like that." i expined, i wanted to tell her that Stel killed me in my past life, but she wouldn't believe me if i told her.

  "Damn, i'm sorry you went through all that..." Alice said.

  "No worries, i'm sure Stel will find somone new." i said.

  The next morning, the four of us continued our trek through the woods, when we reached a rge clearing, we found the portal, and what was there blew our minds!

  Treasure Totems! a whole gang of them! today was our lucky day!

  Mysterious beings, unknown even to other Mutos Beasts, defeating them yields high rewards, but they are extremely strong and quick, and are known to devour their prey with their vacum-like maw.

  "Damn girl! we hit the jackpot!" Alice said.

  And with that, we all asumed our Beast forms, the other two were a Bat Awakened and a Grizzly Bear Awakened.

  Alice and i were able to take out the first 4 totems, the other 2 were having some trouble taking them out, but Alice was able to help.

  I used my Water Clones to finish off the st three, at the end, the Treasure Totems left two Epic-grade Golden Cores each.

  I killed 5 totems, so i got 10 cores, Alice killed 3 so she got six cores, the two who were with us only killed 1 each so they got 2 cores each.

  And with that, the Mutos Portal was closed and we all went home....

  Back home, i took all of the cores i collected, 11 Epic-grade cores, 10 Mid-grade Cores and 5 Elemental Cores.

  After absorbing them all, my states skyrocketed!

  Now a Knight-rank, i'm more than ready for the University Exams, Little did i know of the chaos that would follow....
