It has been nearly 6 months since I st saw Audrey. Ever since that day, she doesn't come to school anymore.

  In the end, if this is the result, was it really worth it to keep lying to her face ? Is this what a friend is supposed to do ?

  In the first pce, before meeting Melissi, Audrey and that annoying guy,I never had any friends.

  How can I ever say I'm better than the humans that robbed me of my father, even though he was one of them. I suppose associating with a witch always ends in tragedy...

  " Hey, Gremlin, are you ok over there ? Even though we've having a party for you, you don't even seem to have fun."

  " S-shut up,Marth ! Y-You know full w-well why she's like this today !"

  " Well, it's true we haven't seen the other one in a while. By the way, I was searching for you all over school when their little argument happened but couldn't seem to find you Melissi."

  " D-don't worry about it... "

  " Hm ? I guess you went to hide. I mean, I wouldn't want anything to happen to that beautiful face."

  " Yuck."

  " Stop making that face, you're reminding me of that cat monster from 2 month agos. I'm already getting shivers."

  " Every time we visit, those two are always like this. It's kind of cute, don't you think, Alma ?"

  " Yeah, kinda gives me we like each other but we won't admit it vibes. "

  " Ew. P-please do n-not associate me w-with this guy..."

  " On second thought, nevermind. Maybe they're more like a cat and a dog, Aria."

  " As long as I'm not the cat in that imagination of yours, I suppose you're fine to think whatever you want."

  They took a lot of their time to set up this party for me and I'm happy to see they are still very lively despite one of our members being a deserter.

  However, my mood is not in it. This part will never be complete without all our members present.

  " B-by the way, Miss Li, Miss Audrey told me to give you this."

  " Huh? When did you guys talk ? "

  " The day of your argument. I-it's a present for your birthday."

  I opened the package to find a dark purple cape coat. Why does she knows what I like in terms of clothes that much ? Have I ever told her ?

  I removed my hat to put it on, it fit perfectly.

  " I see..."

  " M-Miss Li ? Why are you crying ?"

  " Even though we ended on a bad note, she still thought she should give me something for my birthday...It just makes me happy. "

  Melissi took out another packaged box from her backpack.

  " She said this one was from your mom."

  " What ?"

  Couldn't she have gave this to me home ? Sometimes she really surprises me. In a bad way. I bet she's in a store buying expensive clothes again.

  I opened the package to find a cristal ball inside it. There was also a piece of paper in the box with a message written on it.

  " Here, my adorable Li. Mommy found you a very cute cristal ball. My friend blessed it with her magic so it can actually really see the future. Mommy also thought a pin old cristal ball doesn't match her adorable sunshine so the support of the ball is designed as a cat paw.

  P.S: Don't forget to look at the lottery numbers for mommy."

  I swear Mom's shamelessness never changes. I wish she also stopped talking to me like I was still 5. Especially when I just turned 15.

  " Here's mine, M-Miss Li. "

  She handed me her gift. It was a plushie of a magical girl from an anime I didn't know about.

  " T-this is M-Marika from " the chronicles of Marika". It's r-really good, w-we w-watched an episode together st month. "

  " Ah, right, I remember, it was when we had to deal with that demon. You were singing something on the way and showed me the intro of the show after I asked."

  " Y-yeah, I-I remembered you said it was y-your favourite character. So I g-got this for you."

  To be fair, that intro was really catchy. How did it go again ? Magical, Magical, Magical or something ? I think this was it.

  I opened the rest of the packages. Alma and Aria gift were just books. The choice was good though.

  As for Marth, he said his gift would take a while and to remove my hat to receive it.

  " What are you going to do ?"

  " My gift to you is a new haircut."

  Everyone looked at him like he was the most despicable person either.

  " That's not a gift but I'm still impressed you're capable of dressing hair. I guess the intention counts."

  " Wait until you see what my fingers can do."

  " On second thought, maybe Madam Melissi is right. I propose to put that guy in jail, right here ,right now."

  " I agree, Alma."

  " Put t-these fingers away from Miss Li !"

  " What did I say ?!"

  I didn't understand the big deal either.
