File#24: A world of amusement (vs Sally) part 3

I couldn't believe it, during the small pse of time when the needle travelled back to my hand and her dropping her bag, she couldn't notice.

I know she said something about that bag being reted to her ability. Is it possible she can't use them when the connection between the two breaks up?

The kid touched the small cut I made on her face, the sadistic smile on her face turning into a pensive expression.

"I haven't been hurt by someone in a while..."

Still holding her bag, she snapped her fingers, strange creatures coming out of portals that seemed to be a window to space itself. Among them, a dark depiction of a clown, two goldfish and a humanoid pencil. Ever since I met that girl, everything is starting to make less and less sense. I mean, gods, a psychopathic child, demons, a ghosts? Those people were acting like it was perfectly normal while I felt like the only one with common sense.

There I was, now in a battle with a literal child, as if that was normal, forced to face some doodles she made come to life.

What the hell is even bizarreness in the first pce? I mean, magic tentacles? Space portals? That's riddiculous.

"Don't worry, even though Sally doesn't really like you, she won't make your death painful. Alright, let's go boys! Bst her away!"

The three creatures she spawned opened their mouth, the gaping holes reflecting the emptiness of space, a stronge force attracting me to their mouth.

"Don't you think the w of attraction applied to their mouth is pretty fun?"

This kid was definitely having fun toying with me.

  To be honest...

  I couldn't take it...

Who did that brat think she was in the first pce? Nobody tells me what I need to do and if they dare do that, I put them in their pce. I'm not weak like my mother. I would never allow insects to come near me or dictate how I need to live my life. This child idea of a better world is stupid in the first pce. She just doesn't want to grow up.

I remember when I was like this...

Before her very eyes, the nightmares she had created to mess with me morphed into giant stuffed animals.

  "What the?"

Instinctively, she hid her bags from my eyes.

"I see. I didn't think it would work..."

It was quite weird, the more I started to think like I used to, the clearer my mind became. However, there was an odd part.

I could now see sewing lines everywhere including the little girl's body. I rubbed my eyes as a way to check if I wasn't turning crazy as they never disappeared.

"I see, that's quite ironic, it seem you are a bad matchup for me. That's unfortunate but I may have to resort to that if I want to beat you..."

I had no idea what she was talking about, however she didn't seem pleased about the idea. There still was one thinf very clear to me though, I had to teach this child a lesson.

  ...

And I suppose help those dumbasses outside this weird dome too...

God, what's happening to me? Did seeing Alma actually make me feel self conscious...

  Get it together, Jessica...

  "Cuticles, go!"

As much as she acted like a psychopath, you could tell she was still a kid at heart, naming her tentacles based attack cuticles.

Unfortunately for her, the only thing that came out of her bag were confettis.

I drew my needle, ready to end this farce as she took step backs little by little.

  "Hm?"

  "You've finally noticed."

The smile was finally back on her face, to be honest it kinda felt like she was having fun. Although she was right, I did notice.

Even though I also looked at this dome and targetted it, it didn't follow the intrustions I gave to it regarding how it needed to change it's appearance. According to the info Venus fed in my head right now, I needed to look at things I wanted to change with what she called "Pygmalion eyes" to modify something. She even gave me a warning she didn't give the ability to modify human beings because she didn't trust me. The only person she said I was allowed to modify was myself.

So many rules, what would I even do if I could anyway?

I couldn't even think about it too much, the child pushing my body back and saying two weird words, the smile and cheerful behaviour completely disappearing.

  "[Id state]."

Her voice became completely distorted as she said this, her tiny body growing up in size, the quills coming undone, releasing her hair and bag being absorbed into her body.

Right now, all the cells in my body are telling me I should run away. The thing in front me not human anymore. Although she now had the appearance of a grown woman that was way older than me, something about her didn't feel right. The yellow cross was now positioned in her eyes, a green shade appearing in them.

"What's wrong, I thought you hated adults... Why turn into one?"

Sensing the danger, I instinctively dodged, a strike I coudln't see breaking a part of the barrier she created. At this point, it became obvious that I was never winning this fight in the first pce.

  "So this how I die..."

I could hear the annoying green haired girl, Alma and Aria scream my name. The feeling was weird...

Those guys... Despite the way I acted to them...

A memory of my mother fshed before my eyes, before a tornado of fire destroyed the rest of the dome.

  "Id state."

Huh? Didn't she say she couldn't do that? Besides, why was this crazy woman halping me right now?

"I know what you're thinking, Madonna but I'd prefer if you didn't lump me in with that version of myself. That imbecile mets me rot in my own mind to use my body however she please for years and now she asks me for favours? I hate her! Does she even know how scary it is to be stuck in that space for that long?!"

Her personnality seemed quite different, I didn't really understand.

"Ah, the coward, Maria. Bold of you to show up here, you only know how to act though so I'm suprised you have in you to defy me. We both know how that ended up for you everytime you did."

"Ah, please, you talk a big game for someone who doesn't even know how to do basic divisions. Don't you forget "Maria" was the one that helped you with that silly homework you value so much, Maria. That priest is maniputing you, you should wake up."

"As if I didn't know that already. The only reason he doesn't harm me like you guys is because Ctu represents an actual threat to him."

What are those guys on about?

"Anyway, even though you are Maria, I suppose you are the original, you talk way too eloquently to be that idiot."

  "S-sorry about that..."

The embarassment emanating from her was palpable.

"You should go while you still can, Maria. I'm only finishing my business with this girl over here. I don't wanna hurt you."

  "No, can't do."

Maria kicked the ground, her eyes burning with a red iris and a yellow cross, a heatwave hitting the girl.

The heat was so strong that it started to burn the skin of the girl, the invinsible things that was holding Audrey, Aria and Alma melting, revealing itself to be one of those weird tentacles.

"That other idiot doesn't even know how to use this power properly in the first pce. She has no idea how ashamed Xiuhtecuhtli is of her. It's fire from the sun itself so why does that dumbass uses it like it's simply to do silly explosions and simple fires in the first pce? I can't stand how dumb she makes me look to our god."

"Since when are you this strong, Maria."

"I'm telling you, that other bimbo has nothing going on in her head. She's just like you said, a coward that runs when there's even a tiny bit of danger to herself."

  She smiled.

"But that is a part of me. I mean, if I really ddidn't accept her existence in the first pce, I wouldn't be able to use Id state. I suppose it's the same for you. After all, your Id state reverts you to something closer to your real age."

Sally ughed, seemingly content about what she said.

"Ahahaha, you're far more mature than big sis Maria. That's funny."

She reverted back to her child form, munching on the candy she had taken, the burns on her body healing.

"Alright. I suppose this will do for today."

  She turned to me.

"I'll let you get away with it for now since Big sis Maria is so nice."

As she left, she whispered next to me.

"However, the next time I see you, I won't be as indulgent."

With those words, the little gremlin left, the same eerie smile from before on her face.

In the end, I'm really weak... If that woman didn't intervene, my life would have probably been over already...

  ***

It's already been 3 days we were travelling together me, Maria, Jessica, Alma and Aria. The world had changed for the worse, soldiers now at every corners of the streets we were traversing, firing every artillery possible at those creatures in the sky. Society was crumbling, nobody wanting to try to uphold rules anymore.

"Hm? What's that thing in the sky?"

As I looked up, I could notice someone familiar with my enhanced vision, the person I could discern looking like Allison.

  "Is that fucking Allison?!"

  "No way!"

I guess she still has a hate boner for her, whatever the reason.

"Why are you leaning on my shoulder?"

"Rex, girl, you should honored I'm using your shoulders."

This girl was really an egomaniac.

We all looked at her and sighed, already used to her idiotic antics, ignoring her in favour of the marshmallows we were roasting.
