Already happened story > I Decided my Friend was Too Lonely, so I Decided to Become His Girlfriend > Prologue 1

Prologue 1

  ... ... ...

  ... ... ...

  ... ... ...

... Eh...? Am--... I alive? Didn't I get into a car crash with my family during the family vacation?

Where--is... this? We must have been brought into a hospital from our accident.

"Er--..." Oww--? My body still aches. It... The crash must have been serious; though... Where is mother and father? I--... Suppose I should wait until an attendant or nurse comes over to meet with me for me to ask...

I let myself back down onto the bedding after foolishly forcing myself up.

"Thinking about it--ah?" Eh...? Why is my... "Who is--..."

... Impossible...? My--my... Surely--, I'm just dazed from my injuries. I heaved a sigh and looked at--... myself...

  "Yaaah--?!"

What--this isn't a weird dream is it? I put what little strength I had in me to pinch my cheeks; that should wake be up from this--... dream... Eh?

  "I--..." Was shocked...

  ... ... ...

"Haah--... Haah..." I... took the time to think things through over, for ten minutes... I had no idea what happened after the crash that occured, but here I was in a... Girl's body. After a while, I could move myself a little. I forced myself up on my wobbly legs and took to trying to find anything that I could use to find my name... new name.

"Ah..." A small navy blue and white satchel bag stood on the small desk besides me. I took it and tried--ah? Why is it so heavy? After feeling how heavy the bag was, I gave up trying to lift the bag and decided to look through the bag; finding a student handbook for... Thersia District Central Commerce Highschool... Wait, that was the school I went to? Aside from that, the handbook also had a small safety cover for what looked like would be an ID, so I opened and took out her ID. "Teseia Alicia." And her birthday is at Lunar Year 919 Second Half Day 182, so the st day of the year. She was 14--er, well of course, she was bound to be 14 to 16 if she was in High School at this time of the year.

"Teseia..." I uttered my new name... That name was me; "Alicia." And... this was a valuable name, one I shouldn't let normal people call me by.

"Eh?" I--... turn to see a medical nurse looking at me from the door... Ah, I must look weird looking at my student ID whilst looking so dazed... "Please sit down Teseia--the injuries from your accident still have not healed yet." The male nurse said...?

"... huh...? What--," Accident? "What... accident?" That was a shock; though... I guess once I hear the situation, things will make sense...

The male nurse starred at me before nodding to himself... "Memory loss--alright..." The male nurse uttered... "I'll have the doctor inform you tomorrow... regarding everything."

What--well, actually I guess memory loss can serve as a good excuse for me... A very convenient excuse for me. Though what... in the world happened to the point where this nurse wouldn't even disclose information to me? "Uh--eh, unn..." I gave an empty nod in response to hearing that the doctor would come.

"Now--is there anything else; pain or discomfort anywhere else?" Now came the normal medical checkup...

I shook my head, "Nothing; I feel a little sore and tired but nothing." I moved my arms on the chair I sat to show I was mostly fine.

The nurse continued to ask me some more basic questions, but all my answers went to show nothing serious...

"Alright then--I know you woke up, but please rest. The doctor will be with you next morning." The nurse said. "If you need anything, there is a bottled water on the desk next to the bed. If you feel hungry, this is here," He handed me a...? A small sweet boxed pie? "It should be safe to eat for your condition." Well--I suspect so... "If you wish to get in touch with another nurse for anything, press this button on this phone and someone will come for you." He showed me to the phone on the small desk with the bottle of water and lightly touched the button without pressing it. "Any questions?"

I shook my head again. "Nothing."

The nurse got up from kneeling down to the phone. "Then if that is everything, rest well." He left quickly...

Then... I suppose that is everything I need to know... I guess there is nothing to do besides rest and wait...

I tucked myself into the hospital bed and closed my eyes... "... goodnight..." I told myself to attempt myself to sleep.

  ... ... ...

  ... ... ...

  ... ... ...

I woke up early to prepare for the meeting with the doctor. I searched her--... My bag and found a phone; with luckily a facial recognition system, which allowed me to access her phone... and quickly change the password. I also took the time to see if there was anything on her phone that I should take note of. I felt guilty looking through the notes and pictures of a girl's phone, but it was necessary!... was the excuse I used. After a while, I found what I deemed important. This girl kept all her information about websites in a locked notepad that I opened using the new phone password. Looking through the notes, it held everything; from important passwords for online sites. I checked her online profile for her a social site and nothing seemed off; besides her ck of friends... I heaved a sigh of relief knowing I wouldn't have to deal with a bad past.

I got bored after a while and waited... I still had to comprehend everything that occurred...

Whilst in thought, and after enough time, the door I was waiting for to open opened with a white-b coat person behind it. "Good morning Teseia." The man who I assumed was the doctor politely greeted me. "My name is Halcation Fuliser, and I will be your attending doctor today." Err--ah, it is him... I could trust him.

I gave a nod with my head to his greetings. "It is nice to meet you Doctor Halcation." I greeted him back with a simple polite greeting.

Doctor Halcation pulled the small chair attached to the small desk besides my bed to face me, before sitting in it. "I already gone through my assistant's Tilmen's report; and you seem to be in stable condition." He expined... I gave another empty nod... "He also asked me to give you an expnation first on what happened to your family..."

... I... waited for this moment...

"... Everyone with the exception you and your sister died; from the sudden crash that occurred in the Teseia Family and the Waltsia Family you two are the only survivors." Huh--...?

... Waltsia; that was my previous family and surname!? This--don't tell me--?

"For a long while, you were in the border of life and death; scans said you died... but suddenly in the few hours before we were going to go through with your remaining family for another funerial, you made a sudden massive recovery."

"Eh...?" I--... "Please... give me a moment." I requested, as the doctor turned quiet... I thought this through; so the--no, I should say Alicia died... But for some reason, she is alive, for some unknown reason. In this crash that killed everyone - including me -, everyone but Alicia and her sister, we are here... "Thank you; please go on Doctor."

"To continue," Doctor Halcation took a breath. "The Waltsia Family has paid out to your family for compensation, and your parent's inheritance will allow you to forget about any expenses." Huh...

"I--..." This seemed suspicious... Did he--is Doctor Halcation perhaps seeking for money through me? "... An... eh, what is your retionship to... us?" I asked; Doctor Halcation seemed suspicious for speaking about our financial wellbeing, though I sincerely hoped it wasn't for greed. It wasn't the him I knew that would.

He... looked surprised, before nodding... "Sorry; I am your father's friend... though I suppose you don't remember me due to memory loss." Ah, I suppose it makes sense... "I am currently having a friend process everything for you two, but I would like to discuss with you how you and your sister - or Cecelia's - future will be." Ah, I see...

"Ah, understood..." I replied... "Sorry for suspecting you..." I suppose I can't know of every favor a person owes... Though it is nice to know that at least I am not alone...

"No, it is perfectly understandable; I cannot say much for patients with memory lost, but if you would like, I want to know how much of you is left." Ah--err... There is nothing left of Alicia--but I won't say... "I'll start with the process of discharging you from our hospital; so you should be out soon this morning." He said.

  "Thank you."
